The project includes two theatres, first and second stage recovery bays, a diagnostic suite including a static MRI scanner, outpatient, and physiotherapy departments.

In addition, the facility provides parking for 80 cars and eight EV charging stations. The facility integrates with other health services in the wider Preston and Chorley area and has been designed to provide a flexible building to suit current and changing medical practices, futureproofing for any subsequent adaptations.

This complex, 62-week design and build project was completed in September 2021. Based on a busy commercial estate, it was essential that our construction activity caused minimal disruption to local people and businesses. This was achieved by the development and implementation of a detailed logistics plan by Warden as a Construction Logistics and Community Safety (CLOCS) Champion.
