The opportunity
In the role of a joiner, you will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of tasks from installing structural elements of buildings to fitting windows, furniture and doors. You will use equipment and tools to create furniture and fittings using wood and ensuring health and safety at all times.

Your responsibilities
- Understanding technical drawings and how your work will fit within the building
- Measuring and marking wood according to technical designs
- Cutting, shaping and joining wood and other materials to create structures
- Working with suppliers and sub-contractors
- Working with a variety of tools including hand tools, power tools and machinery to create and install wooden structures
- Taking measurements and making accurate calculations
