Warden was appointed to the Manchester Airports Group Construction Framework in 2017 and has been responsible for the successful completion of numerous projects on the airport estate, both landside, and airside.
Projects have included works within the various terminal buildings, passenger waiting, and recreational areas including retail premises, bars, and restaurants. Warden has also successfully completed works on the airport’s internal fire stations, baggage, and freight control areas. We have also been responsible for the successful completion of a range of maintenance projects.
All Warden personnel, and those of our approved subcontractors and supply chain, have enhanced DBS accreditation. They are also advanced security vetted on an annual basis to work on airside projects, in a high security environment.
Airside security vetting involves a five-year background check, security interview, and counter terrorism check. All projects must be conducted with minimal disruption due to the complex, sensitive nature of the environment, with the public and airport/airline employees in proximity at all times.
